Rhythms of angels walking with this poet on lonely roads
of life, protecting and keeping this poet safe, trading
memories of the past in moments of emptiness.

All the while going through hardships in life, looking
to the future, not looking behind doors for any help,
for those days and nights are now over.

Wanting to leave them in order to finish our time here
on earth, now being in senior years, most of our family
from when we were younger have now passed on.
