Monetary Torture Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Monetary Torture

Monetary Torture

Must gather the coins
-as well as all the bills
-whatever wears graph
-of prince, king, queen.

Then undo zipper to
-hone in on, be exact
-on the heads, ears and
-the mouths, also eyes
-of photos; to pee on!
-and allow urine to…

Imagine what you see.
-Dig deep in history!
-Swim in seabed, deep!
-Then guess why…

I do not agree with
-bunch of kids, men, women
-sitting in palaces, be useless,
-while countless shed sweat
-to pay tax and feed them
-as do labours of ants!

They drink and east best
-while thousands and excess
-live in sun, cold, homeless!

Tell royals go to hell
-why to give them respect?

They are not but worthless
-are leeches, vampires!

Yet many do serve them,
-shamelessly, praise them,
-publish photos and names.
-in office, politics'…
-It's torture day to day;
-reminding us of pains
-that hurt us as do nails.
