Monkey Patrol Poem by Dorsey Baker

Monkey Patrol

Hear loud warplanes
Like angry bees
Buzz the breeze
Behive of smoke
Choke the droopy skies
Drops it's deadly baggage
Like a bullet
It's rapid fire

As a hostage
The big bear hybernates!
In a cave
A very large ape
Make faces at himself
In the mirror
Sees just how ugly
He might become!
