~monochromatic Games~ Poem by E Nigma

~monochromatic Games~

Rating: 5.0

I saw the thought
undress my mind
So I looked the other way
Watched the young day
chase the night
Saw it running as a game
And these silly monkeys
Smile at us little puzzles
Marveling at our
silly imaginations
Cause our thoughts
are elated
To live with one another
Where we build
our own escape
Using heavy star
vacuum cleaners
To wipe out
civilizations
Like simple words
on a blackboard
being erased
And I cry
for what we've become
Yet I long
for another day
In a world
that's cold and ugly
Just to punch it
in the face
Wake it up
to it's reality
That we really
aren't all the same
But my misanthropic dreams
Keep handing me a mirror
That I Pass out when
I'm paying attention
to the stains at
the cleaners
