Monolithic Global Woes Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Monolithic Global Woes

Too many choosing evil.
To justify the magnifying,
Of crimes committed.
With excuses of them done,
As to why they can not cope...
Or get over,
Overwhelming global woes.
On their backs strapped.
And volunteered to carry.

No door behind them to lock.
To feel free from the knocking,
Of those unrelenting...
And persistent ongoing,
Nonstop global woes.

Massive.
Inflexible and rigid.
The overloading upheaval.
Squeezing a tight hold,
Burdened to bear...
On stooped shoulders.
Tired of the black and white,
Of it reflected day and night.
Without signs of relief coming,
To expect, reject or accept it.

Too many choosing evil.
To justify...
A doing to be freed,
From deceived mentalities.
Overloaded with upheaval.
And strapped to their backs,
More of it is attached.
Making people feel attacked.

Massive and rigid.
Vicious and monolithic woes, Grows.
Monolithic and rigid.
Massive and vicious,
Monolithic these global woes...
Grow.
Monolithic and vicious.
On backs strapped.
Monolithic and vicious.
Leaving people attacked.
By evil global woes.
Monolithic.
Evil global woes.
Inflicted and vicious.
Evil global woes!
