Monsters Aplenty Poem by Dorsey Baker

Monsters Aplenty

Monsters arise razor Sharp
Teeth bloodshot
Weeping eyes
Hiding in plain sight!
Come fully equip
And loaded down
With pain and misery
They bring their own
Bag of tricks
Clowns star in their own circus
Wolves hunt you down
To destroy you
As evil doers bite into your flesh
In secret places
Where they find extreme weakness
These monsters abide within laughter
And tears
And can attack
At a moment's notice!
