Moon Jealousy Poem by Luce Darwin

Moon Jealousy

Sometimes
I get unbearably jealous
Jealous of God
Of how he knows everything about you
More than I can possibly ever know
And I'm jealous of the moon
That watches you fall alseep
Every single night
I'm jealous of all the poets
Who can write about how I love you
Better than I can
But I'll write of your eyes
Until tomorrow sucks the life out of me
and steals the words from my mouth
