Moonlight For Me Poem by Ima Ryma

Moonlight For Me

Along the lake I stroll at night
There is a calmness in the air.
And crystal clear comes the moonlight,
Gleaming upon the lake to share
A mass of diamonds sparkling so,
Adorning water with gems fine,
And allowing the lake to glow
In a setting that is divine.
Upon the lake the diamonds dance,
Choreographed in nature's way,
To dazzle me and to entrance
Me into taking pause to stay.

I thank the moon for giving me
Such gleaming gift of ecstasy.
