Moral Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Moral

Moral

Once, long ago, I am sure
(We may find in the caves and jungles, or old rocks.)
I, as he, like he goat
Could make love with mother and sister when grown
Later on “Yes sister…not mother! ” we can see in Inca
Abraham and Sara, many more examples in the books
And later “Not sister but cousins, it’s written in heaven”
Time went by DNA and science “Not cousins, relatives”
Time’s stone keeps rolling. We can though, see one side.
But questions on moral hang around, lingering like cloud
“When and where? Who and how? What’s moral? Why? ”
