Moral Left And Right - Poem by James Vaughn

Words of wisdom,
words of grace,
words of fallacies that won’t be faced.

Others die for these ends,
discover more wants
and more he sends

Moral left,
Moral right,
what’s the difference in a firefight

Wooden boxes
draped in flags
Clustered medals upon their rags

Muffled tears
Mothers cries
Whimpering sounds of an angels sigh

Warriors
Servants
Mothers send
To a terrible conflict that seems will never end
