More Of A Dad Poem by Elizabeth Monroe

More Of A Dad

Rating: 5.0

Why aren't you here dad?
Your never here are you.
In the end you always left me sad.
For someone else to pick up the pieces.

Well one day someone else came along.
He was more of a dad then you ever were.
He made me feel like I might belong.
Those days you made me sad he picked up the pieces.

So now your gone again, but he's still here.
He alway stay's to pick up the pieces.
When ever I need him he seems to appear.
The reason for this is he's more of a dad then you ever were.
