Today I'm thankful for the innocence of children
and for Rabindranath Tagore
the Indian poet, playwright, painter, composer and philosopher.

who said (and I'm paraphrasing here) …that he was of the mind
every child comes to us with a message from their creators…
The creators message:
that they are not yet discouraged with humankind.

But as our creators watch we humans continue to mistreat each other…
as we have…century after century…

how much more patient with us…our creators are willing be
