Morning Blossoms Poem by Lopamudra Mishra

Morning Blossoms

Rating: 3.5

Its bosom bejewelled with radiant
redness entraps vision.
Swinging beauteously with the whistling
wind in the dawn hours.
Rising sun plays hide and seek amidst
variant colours.
Spreads fragrant crimson bedding of
bougainvillea flowers.
To welcome morning walkers.
The silvery dew on the beds tickle the senses.
Along with cuckoo's melody
Euphonious in the air
Acts as a ciper to beholders.
Like an enchanting spinster she
flared with variant charms.
Swirlingg wind entwined me to its grasp
Down the lane babbling of soulful hymns
Erodes all my previous displeasure.
Slowly drifting myself to the feet of almighty.
Nature delivers a clear sky, clean air
Evanescence in day's advance hours
Seeks a grievous note.
Entreatingly I pray to hold this morning hour long...
