The sea at Southen was smiling.

It wouldn't say a single word.

'Tell! Tell! Tell! '
a girl gull cried in alarm.

'Shan't tell! Shan't tell! '
yelled a seashell.

'Shhhhhhh! ' shouted the shingle.

'Shhhhhhh! ' gravelled the sand.

'No more! No more! ' swore the shore.

'ooooOOO! ' whispered the waves.

'Shhhhhhhsea... shhhhhhhsea! '
'Shhhhhhhsea... shhhhhhhhhh! '
scolded the sky

as it rocked the sleepy sun
in its arms.
