Morning Of A New Life Poem by james watkin

Morning Of A New Life

A new day's; a new life's!
A new-born wakes in!
If of age, with all zeal
For the world deadened
'child of fate' re-christened.
With divine blessing.

Nights' accumulated dreams
Wept o'er, rose without
Out-spilt treasure, gleamy eyed
For its precious stones.
As clear as crystal, the tones
Of love, true, blink out.
