Morning Thanksgiving Poem by james watkin

Morning Thanksgiving

Either one's woke beloved, speaking for
Or world of beauty's outspread
Of a truth, heart-felt, assure ourselves;
What of it's passed on ahead.

But until there is taken from us
That which life's worth depends on
Lightweight tossed, teary sentimental
Sized up its appreciation.
