Most Would Agree Poem by Francis Duggan

Most Would Agree

Having lots of money and owning a large property
This what success is most would agree
But it is not how wealthy you are or how many you impress
Should give proof to the World that you are a success
You are not a success though you may be a multi billionaire
If about self and close wealthy friends and your family you only does
care
If you ignore those who live in dire poverty
How selfish as a person indeed you must be
You may be the person that many admire
And just to be like you their greatest desire
But in a World where materialism is talked of every day
Many good living people are not seen as a success which seems sad to say
But then the one who is successful to you may not be so to me
Since we does look at life in our ways differently.
