Mother
I have a mother like all
Who used to answer my call
In the dead of cold frozen night
Who used to hold me clinging tight.
When I was shivering like a reed in fever
I found her only a solace giver
She sat beside me keeping her hand over my head
She sat motionless and never went to bed.
She kissed me on my forehead
And prayed to God for her dear lad
She took nothing through out the whole night
And waited for the morning light
When in the morning fever subsided
She took a heavy sigh and became light hearted
She took her meal after twelve hours
And bowed to God in thankful prayer.

I would like to translate this poem
She kissed me on my forehead And prayed to God for her dear lad She took nothing through out the whole night And waited for the morning light.. this is mother who can do this. Her love for her children is immense and fathomless. It is a great tribute to mother beautifully penned.
