Mother Poem by Susheela Alexiose

Mother

Rating: 5.0

Mother, the one who carried me
on her shoulders until I was seven
Mother, the one who loved me wholly
till she went to heaven.

Mother, I am so blessed to
own you as my darling mom
Mother, your love strengthens my bone
as I wade through every storm.

Mother, I am so blessed to
have been beside you
Mother, in my arms, your last breath you drew
and our wish came true.

Mother, not even a night passes
without your memory
Mother, though my heart crushes
your love is like the melody.
