Mother Nature Poem by Terry Searcy

Mother Nature

Rating: 5.0

I have listened to the trees speak of you
They whispered through the leaves of June
They told me of your lips and your eyes so blue
My heart beats and my mind wonders as they speak of you
The one who feeds and cares for them so true
She makes the sun shine the rain fall and the morning dew
She will always be there to look after us and help us grow a fragile balance she will see us through
And you too can hear them whispers through the leaves of June

An insightful piece of poetry well encapsulated and nicely embellished with poetic rhyme and rhythm. Thanks for sharing, Terry.
