Mother Nature Calls Poem by Beena Jal

Mother Nature Calls

Have you ever stopped to hear the wind
The voices of birds as the merrily sing
Have to ever tried to spot glourious star
which look so near, and yet so far
Have you ever seen the curtains of clouds
Sunrays that filter through and spread all around
Have you touched a tender leaf
Or a cut down tree given you grief
Have yoy smelled fragrence of roses red
Heard chirping of birds when they fed
Have you walked bare feel on green grass
Felt sorry for butterflies trapped in a flask
Have you felt smell of rain on sand
Pondered on the way universe's planned
Have you gazed at light of full moon
Enjoyed shde of trees on hot noon
Have you left man made world for some time
To relish wonderous nature's wine
Just take a step from tame to wild
And for a moment enjoy this side
For we've all evolved from this very site
And its always a pleasure to return home, right?
