Mother Nature Shed Her Tears Poem by Dorsey Baker

Mother Nature Shed Her Tears

Rain drops tears from a very
Heavy sky
Empty of is yellow light
The moon begins to bleed
Pours itself out
Upon a thirsty world
Drunk with lust
It drinks from a broken cup
Then it becomes sick
From the taste
Of its thoughts
Has a notion of raping
Mother nature
But soon abandons the desire
Because of the effort
That it takes
To move such a massive thing
That has existed for so many years
And lived in so many ghost
And has never once considered dying
