Mother Poetry Poem by Sandra Feldman

Mother Poetry

Oh, Mother Poetry
Of welcomed presence
For written arts
And loving hearts,
We are all,
So sentimentally attached
Grateful, for your favors,
For allowing us to savor
Love and Life's sweet feelings,
As we try to irradiate
The universal Love
That you have taught us
Thru Poetry's dilated light,
Reaching always for the stars
In life's bitter-sweet night
Where all hearts thru you
Can attain, new human heights.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
For my dear mother who taught me my first nursery rhymes before I knew
how to read and later instilled in me this love for poetry. I hope she will live on thru my humble verses as my grateful love for her always will.
