Mother's Advice Poem by Randy McClave

Mother's Advice

A woman don't really need a man
To help her to do the best that she can,
And to make a woman feel any hotter
She doesn't need a man, spoke Carolyn to her daughter.
And if loneliness makes you depressed and sad
Don't ever get angry, or worried or mad,
Alone with your mother let's take us a trip
We'll go shopping, and then to the clubs where men strip.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A female friend of mine recently broke up with her boyfriend, not long later her youngest daughter broke up with her boyfriend. Today I texted her and asked how she was doing, and as a joke she said her and her daughter was off to see some male strippers. So, I wrote this poem.
