Mother's Day Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Mother's Day

A day to have some time alone,
A day to have a chance to rest,
A day like others we have known,
Mother's Day is always best.

A time to spend perhaps with dreams,
A moment's pause from daily chore,
Our work, it never ends it seems
This role as mother, what we're for.

As we look back in memory
Of those who've gone before us.
Mothers came for you and me,
All their days were precious.
