Mother's Final Warning Poem by Ishita Kumar

Mother's Final Warning

Heard once, it was by me
What you reap is that u sow
But now I see, that paid by me is the fee
of a crime committed by the all mighty
but you all will cry, plead, kneel and bow
because, my children, time is benevolent,
and I get my revenge

Sown by me, was the happiness ‘seed,
grown upon the soil of love, fed on milk of care
And, now, u can’t come when help is what I need
Instead you, exploit me, to fulfil your greed
But soon, when I show my wrath , pain you all will bear
because, my children, time is benevolent,
and I get my revenge

Poison is now that I breathe, alas, this is my fate
your brothers and sisters, all, suffer in silence,
so do I, when you bathe me in blood of hate
my children, dear humans, amend yourselves before it’s too late
you are not my only progenies, punished you will be for your violence
because, my children, time is benevolent,
and I get my revenge

Forgotten you have, that mere puppets you are,
I am the controller of your very existence, your strings lie in my hands
Wind of destruction will prevail upon your race, because the door of tolerance is now ajar
But remember that you just managed to scratch me so far,
Strive towards the ray of hope, in this ever growing darkness, before I unleash my fangs
because, my children, time is benevolent,
and I get my revenge
AS,
Heard once, it was by me
What you reap is that u sow
But now I see, that paid by me is the fee
of a crime committed by the all mighty
but you all will cry, plead, kneel and bow
because, my children, time is benevolent,
and I get my revenge
