Mother Saint Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Mother Saint

Rating: 5.0

Mother mother
You turned a saint
Uplifting the poor
Attending the needy.

Desolate and helpless
As others turned away
You welcomed them
With all the warmth.

Your words of wisdom
Are etched deep
Inside the core
Of my beating heart.

May your kindness
Envelop the world
May your kind
Develop and thrive.

A beautiful tribute to Mother Teresa- an angel of mercy and compassion sent down directly from Heaven! As Indians, we can be proud that such a blessed soul lived here and left her footprints on our soil....!
