Mothers' Day Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Mothers' Day

Mothers' day

North of Finch, Bathurst's west
-exactly on corner
-the shops' signs in Russian
-aim Jewish customers
-immigrants

There and on the sidewalk
-stands with flowers
-Bouquet-forms, in vases
-for the day of mothers…

He too is a robot in messy city-life
-does what the master wants
-"Catch the bird before dies! "
