Move Little Fast - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Melody doesn't allow inclusion
Of poisonous material for confusion
Spread of hatred under the disguise
Of patriotism and propose to devise

The songs are sung for mass murders
Expulsion of nationals as foreigners
Even though they might have been here
For the safe heaven to escape hell there

Somewhere something is played
We all think about it and get dismayed
What sort of adventurism is this called?
Chauvinism, nationalism or regionalism

People die daily on the roads
Houses gutted and rail is full with human load
Mass exodus of population from one place
Reprisal threat makes others to flee in such case

No strict rules for foreign nationals to settle
Illegal migration like herds of cattle
Local population has only to resent
People move on and suffer with consent

Nationality is burning question
Integrity is not a problem to mention
Only God can save our county
We have left it to the other's mercy

We grant clemency to terrorists
Offer best protection and insist
All possible legal aid and claim
World's best democracy under nice frame

Think of danger ahead
No one from outside may come and lead
We are the sons of soil and master
We must act and move even little faster fast
