A Plesianthropus was found
In '47 - human skull,
'Mrs. Ples' deemed to be around
Two million years in buried lull.
South Africa, the place of find,
The skull remarkably complete,
In the Cradle of Humankind,
Where bones of old and young do meet.
'Mrs. Ples' continues to be
Probed for the secrets she may hold.
With more and more technology,
More and more secrets do be told.

The 'Mrs.' has been but a guess.
Could very well be 'Mr. Ples.'
