Much Better Place Poem by Anonymus Girl

Much Better Place

That boy, he is not in love with you
That boy, he does not care
If he did, wouldn't he talk to you?
If he did, wouldn't he be here?

Don't try to find him in the room
You know he didn't come
He really doesn't deserve you
He's the reason you're undone

You’re hitting yourself for not seeing it
But he had us all so blind
The difference is that we realised before you
That his intentions were unkind

Just rest your head for a while
Maybe you'll wake up from this nightmare
To a beautiful world where this didn't happen
And you’re living without this cold fear

Does my voice sound distant now?
Because the colour is draining from your face
I know that I can’t save you now
But I hope your in a much better place
