Much Is Said Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Much Is Said

Much is said

Much is said of downtown
In poems, prose, songs…

I assume all are right;
In daytime and office
Dressed well in two-piece
To the lunch break and
Eating in restaurants
To the night in pubs, bars.

The fashion for old, young
And shopping with the eye
While walking on sidewalk
Or being in crowd, in a mall.

But today was today
Attractive, special…

In the nick of the time
Angry got sky…
With finished nine to fives
That headed for the buss
Or garage to drive
Or pedal on the bike;

It suddenly frowned in cloud,
Sent thunder with flood…

Ran women who wore shorts
With T-shirts to fight the
Excess heat; outrageous…

Some, still, in high heels
And skirts of two-piece
And some were, just sexy.

Came rain and made a mess,
Their run for safe place
Made a show to observe
And address sexy game
With fun and disaster.
