Mulenga My Love Poem by Suzawaka Phiri

Mulenga My Love

Let me tell you about Mulenga, the most beautiful maiden in the village.

Her face is beautiful like a full moon. She is hot like the sun at noon. Her hips, her waist, her breasts, her lips, oh god. Her chocolate skin and kinky hair.

Let me tell you about stars sitting next to the moon. How beautiful the sky looks! Exactly how Mulenga looks like.

Let me tell you about the sun, how it crowns the sky with a golden crown early in the day. Exactly how Mulenga looks like.

Let me tell you about a river that flows silently in the forest. The peace it commands. Exactly like Mulenga.

The taste of honey reminds me of Mulenga's voice. She is a female leopard that has the looks of a lioness.

There is a tree in the middle of the village, it has very long branches. They remind me of the welcoming arms of Mulenga. They remind me of her extended arms."
