Murderous Yearning



Tear drops like fresh dew
hold your reflection in neat purity
forbidden and untouched
yearning
longing
aching.

A murderous wind taunts in cruelty
a vulnerable heart of flesh
that cannot bare to know
yearning
searching
hurting.

Smiles hide covetous eyes
fiery gaze betrays an untold secret
incarcerated under layers of mock indifference
yearning
craving
lusting.

Confusion, hope and fear
worm their way
turning old soil
yearning
hoping
urging...
