Muse Did Choose Poem by Ima Ryma

Talhaern Tad Awen, I did be
A Welsh poet who did create
Poems in the 6th century.
To powerful was tied my fate.
My patron, chieftain Heidyn paid
Me a hundred kine ev'ry week
For flow'ry poetry that made
Him the greatest fighter, unique.
When Heidyn was killed, so was I.
In afterlife, muse I became.
I made it my mission to try
To help some poet achieve fame.

Centuries seeking long and hard,
I became the muse for The Bard.
