Music Calms The Soul Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Music Calms The Soul

Forty words:

Tribulation reigns without you.

Music playing no part.

Once we were quietly comforted

Listening to Rossini and Bach...

Overtures had a soothing effect

Especially on a troubled mind.

So tomorrow dear, we'll wine and dine.

Beautiful evenings stand in line.
