Music Is Love Poem by Edwina Reizer

Had this one day never occured
then all the music that I've heard
would all be put to rest.
All the sounds that love has brought
were sounds I never would have sought
but love knew what was best.

All of this music in my heart
without that day would soon depart
and no one would have guessed
how sweet a melody love can create
and how its sound can fully sate
and bring my heart to rest.
