Music Of Silence. Poem by Fay Slimm

Music Of Silence.

Rating: 5.0

Lying in stillness, and listening, I try
Catching the dewdrops song to the morning.
Soundless warmth falls from a brightening sky
Aglow with ethereal delight of the dawning.
Purring leaves sigh as a breeze rustles air.
Floating gossamer downwards, it catches
Shivering grasses, which mutely declare
Their delight as each resonance passes.
Rocks inaudibly stir, subtlely moving
To harpstrings of silence heralding day.
Motionless life welcomes refrains, approving
The message that, soundless, melodies play.
An earthwide Concerto of Love, unheard.
This music of silence needs not a word.

An extra-ordinary poem with a beautiful message! Silence has its own music that can be enjoyed by a insightful person. Most of the events of the nature are occurring mutely and you with your 3rd eye and 3rd ear enjoy duly. The beauty of the poem, imageries, is excellent that we can feel from reading. 10 with delight.

Beautiful, silence is now, this present moment brings us peace, no thoughts of yesterday or whats to come, just a report of what is happening now, We forget to listen to the silence, the best poems come from that quiet place if being now. Bob xx 10/10
