In the emperor's garden peach blossoms are bright and beautiful under the rising sun
In the orchid boudoir, a beauty is taking into the spring of love
By the well, the new peach flowers would like to dress up as her
Under the eaves, the green willows want to learn being slim and graceful like her
Comes and goes to watch fluttering butterflies in the flowers
Now and then listen to orioles singing in the trees
Under the trees, there is no need to ask where she
Her outstanding and gentling has been already famous


注：长孙氏（601年—636年），唐太宗李世民皇后。长孙是复姓。氏不是名字，是妻子或是女性祖宗的意思。长孙氏意思是妻子姓长孙，名字隐略。这种用法常见于近现代的墓碑上。
Note: Mrs Zhangsun (601-636) , queen of Emperor Tang Taizong, Li Shimin. Zhangsun is compound surname. Shi not a name. It means a wife or a female ancestor. Zhangsun Shi means the wife’s surname is Zhangsun and her name is omitted. This usage is common on the modern tombstones.
