Musing With Angels - Inspired By Singing With Angels By Suzi Quatro

Musing With Angels - Inspired by Singing With Angels by Suzi Quatro

The poets and musicians
Gathering harmonizing
At your prime Chelsea Hotel
Bob Dylan remembering
You not getting The Nobel
And feeling somewhat guilty
Melodious voice of Jeff
Echoing Hallelujah
(Your favourite cover version)
Healey's playing Angel Eyes
Reminding you of Marianne
Your endless love and gratitude
For her great love and such beauty
Janis crying for lost love
Holding you in her warm heart
Joni's singing A Case of You
As you befriend her in your soul
The Gypsy Wife sitting alone
While Adam's composing
And Lorca's orchestrating
An immaculate video:
Little Jew Writing The Bible

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It was my first time hearing that song and I loved it so much that it inspired me to continue writing my tribute poems to the incomparable Leonard Cohen! He's the one who should have received the Nobel Prize for literature!
