It's Father's Day today
Not quite like yesterday
The silent enemy
Forcing us to be friends
It's day for fathers to share
Experience from wisdom
Sons and daughters to listen
Just sit and really listen
It's Father's Day like none other
Time for us to come together
To toast to small victories
Forget forgive the losses
It's Father's Day pray
Dogs playing with cats
Wolves not preying on sheep
Angels not in harm's way
‘It's day for fathers to share" I like Wlodarski's notes about his poem!
2) cont'd: Rob, I really wish that more poets would utilize the Poet's Notes section. It's such an invaluable tool and resource. If used properly, it should clarify for the reader whether the poem is referring to the writer or someone else.
Rob, thank you very much for your support and encouragement through your positive comments. And through you liking my notes about the poem. And for the 5 Stars.
Not having a father I cannot feel anything for this day, that being said I am happy for those who do have fathers, atleast those who deserve to be fathers. An excellent tribute to those men

And I see that you've read it a 2nd time in the span of 1 month. I greatly appreciate that, Indira!
