Must Be A Dream Poem by Rachel BaByBeAr Anderson

Must Be A Dream

Who'dve thought, sitting beside you in the cold,
the lonely sky turning black while we drink hot chocolate,
tapping our feet to the music that bellows from the car in front,
occasionally getting up to dance and sing to our songs,
listining to the others playing football or chatting loudly nearby,
snuggling into the warmth of your shoulder and slowly unwinding,
listening to your sweet voice and watching your wonderfull face,
seeing the others randomly walking, riding bikes and dancing,
being dazzled by your words and your calm nature,
getting up to walk around and to stretch,
getting lost in the dark and cool whipping of the air,
playing games and talking softly,
messing around with the others and chilling out by the ramps,
munching on biscuits and warming ourselves with more hot chocolate,
must've been through so many cups by now,
still not warm, snuggle more closely on the bench till we're almost hugging,
feeling you wrap your arm around me, protective and friendly,
talking about lost memories, and past experiences,
it's so good feeling you close, seeing you here, hearing you talk.
Who'dve thought that I would see you again, feel your touch and hear your voice ring like
a bell in my ear.
This is so perfect, It must be a dream.
