My Alluring Mystic Epitome Poem by Mustofa Munir

My Alluring Mystic Epitome

Like a mountain-daughter
You descended to my altar of love,
It was a moment
I could not flee from,
It came and
Took me into a pristine entity,
A whirling smoke of purity
Around your unblemished form
Lured me into a warren of bliss!
Many stars were gazing at us,
Glaciers were gliding
With the chorus of murmuring wind!

Your unsullied soul rolled over me as if
Sea waves rolling amorously over
Sandy shore with rumbling vigor!
You were a goddess, a chaste,
An ascetic virgin!
In your eyes I saw a lustrous thrill,
A deep pain of love melted there,
So pleasing it was to my eyes!
As if through ages
You loved me with plethora of devotion,
O dear, my nirvana—I achieved,
A cool-compassionate light effused

Around me to have a glimpse of you—
My alluring mystic epitome!
