My Ancestry Poem by Phil Soar

My Ancestry

I couldn't trace my ancestry
I did my family tree
It seemed there were no records
Of who my dad would be
The more I tried to find a trace
Of who my parents were
I found myself in a different place
Than the one I would prefer
I trust I'm not a bastard
Though some might say "You are"
Maybe I'm a freak of nature
Or is that going too far?
