It was autumn once again, my friends
And off to the cabin I'd go
To sit out on my peaceful porch
And watch the brilliant leaves flow.
I can't think of a better time
Than this lovely time of year
Just before the holidays
Things will get very busy, for sure.
Thanksgiving is a special time
To hug your loved ones close
Eating food, a cherished mood
One of the times I treasure the most.
And then, of course, the biggest one
That I plan and plan some more
Christmas with its cheeriness
The sparkling tree upon the floor.
But for now, my dears, I shall sit here
Before more holidays begin
So much there is I need to do
But for now I'll enjoy my autumn cabin!
