My Box Poem by Laura arwen

My Box

There is a
secret excitement inside
me to build
my stockpile and
to clean everything
My box is
full of secrets
My box will
be full of
books and my
notebooks of poems
I would have
many simple wishes
but they are
impossible to achieve
I want to
be alone but
I'm afraid of
it
Many times I
should not worry
about the consequences
or appearances
Getting rid of
things in excess
is a great
satisfaction but I
don't want to
exaggerate in getting
rid of it
It is a
misfortune not to
know what one
wants
I'm tired of
possessing things
I am in
disharmony with nature
My mind is
a box full
of conflicting emotions
and desires
It is embarrassing
to have to
hide to write
I'm determined to
be more productive
at work
Rare times I'm
inexplicably happy and
euphoric
Sometimes I want
to build my
own kingdom
