My China Replica Poem by Joyce Hemsley

My China Replica

When out and about in the City
Oft' I repeat a secret prayer...
Where is the old-fashioned Cross?
I can't see its attraction anywhere.

Oh, if only I could see the Cross
My obsession would be set free.
All my troubles would be lost
With my inner thought on Calvary.

But alas, I find no Cross of Jesus
No symbol divine do I see...
I rush to my home 'where the heart is'
and my china replica waiteth for me.
