My Critics Have Died Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

My Critics Have Died

The critics
Who used to support me
Have gone away
One by one
Leaving me so lonely,
Dishevelled and distraught,
So devastated and disparaging
With nobody around
To hear me.

Now the courtyard is lonely,
So the house,
Nobody is here,
Nobody is there
To hear,
Hear my things,
Old members have
Exited,
New ones least
Interested in.
