My Curse Poem by Marilyn Jean

My Curse

Each time I feel a bit better
I relax, thinking I am over it
But
There it is again, back, stronger
It is my curse and it won't quit
So
I surrender, not waiting any longer
No more deny, all, on the spot I admit
But
Nothing changes anywhere, I ponder
I wonder again, then do not commit
So
My curse I cannot fight nor conjure
And at the end I know I shall submit
