My Daughters

Rating: 5.0

The first time I saw you, they placed
you by my side. A warm and wonderful
feeling, swept over me with pride!
Counting all your fingers, down to your
little toes. Why all mothers do this,
heaven only knows! This moment, was
very special, as I held you so close and
tight. Not wanting to let you go, or let
you out of my sight! I loved every minute,
from there on in, for a mother, I was
meant to be! All I can say, it was well
worth it. Because all the love, I had
to give, eventually, was returned to
me!

A loving tribute to your daughters, Audrey. I know exactly how you felt as I felt the same when my daughter was born. Then there were the granddaughters and my grandson, so special. Life just gets better and better. Lovely poem - a '10! ' Best Wishes, Marilyn
